For you new passport owners, what did you drive before and is this your first Honda? Just curious to see what people are coming from. I never really thought I'd own a Honda before seeing the passport, but I'm strongly considering it.

Good morning, I just picked up my new Passport Trail sport yesterday. I traded in my 2021 Ridgeline (which was an outstanding ride). I just wanted to get back to an SUV. This will be our fourth Honda.

I previously owned a 2011 Honda Accord EXL and 2011 Honda CRV EXL and both performed flawlessly, the later vehicle being sold in October 2025 to purchase a CPO 2026 Passport TrailSport with only 1,400 miles. I considered purchasing a used 2023 Toyota 4Runner (6 cylinder engine), but several terrible customer service experiences with my 2023 Tacoma resulted in a hard pass! I spotted this used TrailSport online and after taking a test drive, I was sold. The appearance, balance of on-road/off-road capabilities, cargo space, driver assist features, brand reliability and excellent dealership customer service record, made for an easy decision!

Not the first Honda. We had a 2005 Odyssey that we bought new and ran it for about 12 years. We had a 22 Kia Telluride before this Passport.

Not sure if you bought one yet or not. I had a Tahoe before my Trailsport and thought we would downsize. Ill be honest with you, Im not sure Id buy this again. Seats are uncomfortable and too low to the floor for me (over 6ft)- Not real impressed with the electronics and the rattles we hear. Gas mileage is ~22 and this is the noisiest engine Ive ever owned. I guess its all preference. For me--Id go back to Tahoe if I had to do it all over. I see great reviews on them though so hope you have great experiences with it if you get one!

Bought my first Honda last April. We have the TS in Sunset Orange. 11k miles now and we love the TS. We have had no issues other than figuring out the bells and whistles. We drove a 2009 Chevy Equinox Sport for 16 years. It had been a good vehicle as it never left us walking. My grandson has it now. The TS is much nicer, larger and quieter than the Eauinox. The TS has a larger towing capacity at 5Klbs. The TS gets slightly better fuel mileage even tho the Chevy had a 3.6L but was smaller with a 6 speed transmission. Seems like I watched a 100 you tube video reviews on similar new vehicles and pretty much had it pinned down to the Honda when we started looking. I liked the fact that it didn’t have a turbo or hybrid system. Simple V6 and a regular 10 speed transmission and not a CVT. This combo has been in Pilot for 3 years so that made me more confident in buying a new generation vehicle.

nissan altima, need more room. haven't bought the TS yet. years ago had a chevy blazer which I really liked (4wd) but can't seem to find anything in the current chevy lineup other than a tahoe that I'd want. did a quick test drive of the TS and liked it. we shall see.

My first Honda vehicle. Previous vehicles 1998 Blazer, 2005 trailblazer, 2010 Tacoma offroad (sold to my friend after PP purchased. I using this truck to tow my ATV and 1 or 2 dirt bike on trailer), 2011 Outback premium, 2015 Outback Touring, 2019 Forester Touring, 2024 Outback Touring XT. I was not happy with XT, been in service 8 times in one year. I was like f*ck it and trade it to Passport TBEB.
I am happy with it. More room, sit up higher, comfortable to drive. Wish to have bigger gas tank. Filling up every 300 to 330 miles. Had my PP since January 23 and has 1600 miles.

This is my first Honda! I traded in my RAM REBEL diesel for this Honda Passport TrailSport Touring because I no longer needed a large pickup truck. Before making my decision, I test drove several models (Colorado ZR2, Tacoma Premium, and even the Ridgeline), but it was while looking at the Ridgeline that I truly fell in love with the 2026 Passport. Three days later, I took delivery of mine: black with a brown and black interior.

So far, I'm satisfied, even though I find it noisier on the highway than my RAM (which was better insulated against wind, engine, and road noise). I'm also going to install running boards at 200%; this should help reduce the noise of gravel hitting the rocker panels and prevent snow from accumulating under the doors.

First car back in 1996 was a 1968 VW bug, second was a 1998 Honda Civic hatchback with no AC haha. Got a 1998 Ford Ranger, which was my first and last Ford ever - that thing broke down the day after my warranty expired. Got a Toyota Matrix for a while, then a Honda CRV, Honda Fit, Honda Passport, Honda Oddysey and my wife got a Tesla model X and my last car was a 2023 Toyota Tundra and now the 2026 Honda Passport TS, which I think has been my most liked vehicle. I love the color, the fit and finish, the seats, the sound system, the engine, everything about it.

We have had an absolute boatload of vehicles of makes, models and styles- but amazingly this is our first Honda. The vehicle traded on it was a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat. We had had a couple of pickups as second vehicles and were wondering if we could get by without one. A year earlier we had considered trading on a Bronco but didn’t move forward thinking that we would be paying for features on the Bronco we would never use (I.e. removable doors roof, all of which makes it louder less tight). We’re in Milwaukee so really wanted AWD so considered 4Runner and Land Cruiser but fell in love with the styling and “off-road” nature of the Passport. Also had been influenced by the debate of V6 along with the major turbo 4 problems of the recent Toyotas. We love the Passport but I regularly got 24 mpg with combined city hwy driving with the Ford and do really miss that. Personally I think the Turbo4 10 speed tranny of Ford was bulletproof probably the best combo of that in the market - just didn’t offer it in anything with the styling and normal driving flexibility of the Passport. It is one of the louder engines we have owned. We only have about 4K miles on it any are hoping we will continue to love it. We will have to figure out how to appropriately tarp it to manage yard waste that we just used to throw into the truck bed. It is the pearl white, and it sure is Pretty . Nice to meet you all.

Our Passport replaces a 2015 Porsche Macan S that we've had for about 7 years. We wanted an SUV with similar in-cabin amenities, but with more cargo capacity and that could tow at least 5K pounds. The Passport is much larger in all dimensions and weight, but as a result, is slower to accelerate. But it's still peppy enough for what we use it for and the gas mileage is similar, although we no longer have to buy Premium gas! I've never had a Honda, but my husband once had a '93 del Sol.
