Camping in Passport

This post is in response to a few people who asked about camping in the Passport Trailsport. I just took an 8 day trip to West Virginia. These are my add-ons, misc. items, and observations…
Items I use:
1. Thule on top for storage
2. Collapsible camp table
3. Small awning and poles
4. Small Coleman stove
5. Life Straw 1 liter water filter container
6. Small camp chair
7. Window privacy covers
8. DIY bug screen window covers
9. 2 small fans (ingress & egress) for air circulation at night
10. A camp kitchen bag from Amazon
11. Leveling ramps
12. 4 inch foam mattress (purchased from Amazon and cut to fit in back of Passport
13. Piece of plywood to extend sleeping area
14. A privacy tent attached to tailgate for getting dressed in the morning. (I made this myself. It sweeps out as I open the tailgate so I don’t have to get out to put it up.
15. A solar shower and a small pop-up tent for showering/toilet.
16. YETI cooler
I stayed in it for 8 days and honestly could

have stayed much longer. It was really comfortable and easy to set up and tear down since I stuck to the basics and went with the smallest items I could.

where did you find the fly rod rest shown over the rear wheel? Magnetic, I assume?

I apologize that this is off topic but I noticed that the ABS pieces above your rear hatch window and the two rear windows as well as the back piece that holds the roof racks we all a different color from stock. How did that happen? Did you paint or primer them? I'm thinking of painting just the three roofline pieces -- not the roof rack. Hi Kermit! I got it from a friend who makes and sells them. It is magnetic and has some felt on the back.

It must be the lighting in the photo. It’s all the same color.
