Honda Passport vs. The Crane Test – How Tough Is It?

Honda put the durability of its new SUV to the test by suspending three TrailSport models vertically from a 140-foot crane, connected only by their recovery points. With fluids drained and transmissions in neutral, the topmost gray Passport hung 100 feet in the air, its front tow hooks supporting over 14,000 pounds of Japanese engineering. That's a pretty cool test, never thought of doing something like that but it really shows the strength of the frame and the recovery points.
