JSport - New 2026 front skid plate & 15% off everything for President's Day

Hi!
This is not an advertisement. **I'm not affiliated with JSport**, but I've become a fan. Was able to purchase two off-road type of upgrades for my Passport from them. And we all know how sadly rare those are.

A while back, their tech support told me that they were getting ready to put out some new 2026 Passport accessories, so I've been stalking their site.

If you're interested, go to the JSport site and you'll find (1) 1.5" lift kit (blessed by HRC), (2) Rear Differential Skid Plate, (3) Mirror Pocket Light Brackets, (4) Fog Light Kit and (5) Front Differential Skid plate (NEW!).

I don't have details, but apparently, between now and the end of President's Day you can get 15% off on all JSport products. I would imagine that means for any vehicle that they make something for.

So what would be the advantages of the JSport skid plates over the factory Honda skid plates?

I guess I can be somewhat helpful here. Regarding the front skid plate: If I have this right, the Trailsports on up come with one but the RTL does not. So, in the case of the RTL, the advantage is obvious. But in the case of the Transports -- it's more difficult to justify.

The Jsport unit is aircraft aluminum and smooth. Honda's is steel. and full of nooks and crannies. So, the Jsport unit is just as strong, is lighter and much less likely to catch on something. That's the most I know to say about it. The folks at Jsport might be better able to justify it.

Now, the *rear* skid plate is a whole different situation. First and foremost, your truck did not come with one. There's no protection, and if you look at that rear differential, you're going to want to do something to protect it as fast as possible. It's full of complex surfaces, there are exposed wires and you really don't want it to take a hit. So, the Jsport aircraft aluminum rear skid plate, I unreservedly recommend.

Get one and install it.
