Maintenance Minder? NOPE!!

People have been interested in this so I'm posting it here and on all the passport groups.. We've been buying Hondas for the last 15 years and one thing that's always bothered me is that maintenance minder...... Service advisors are basically back and sales people their job is to sell sell... And when I saw this ona forum, I clicked on it I right clicked save as and and use it.. Service advisors don't like it..

I keep getting emails from Honda saying I'm overdue for maintenance, but my 2026 PP still shows 50% Oil Life. Today I just checked and now it also shows A16. I've had it for 6 months and have 5600 miles on it. Not sure I'm reading this right. Do I ask for the oil & tire rotation only?

The A in A16 means Differential Service. This happened to me.
I got one free oil change with my purchase of the 2026 passport.
I brought it in after 3500 miles as a break in oil change. I went back for my second oil change at 9500 miles (July 25). I had the A16 code. The service rep couldn’t explain why it was recommended so early. I did it anyway. When I got home, I believe I read that the differential is new and that the way it’s built creates friction and the early service is removes the particles that are left behind.

Thank you. I'm leasing the vehicle so all maintenance should be covered. I'll contact the dealer and see what they suggest. I've read some people saying their dealer wouldn't do anything until the wrench appears.

I took all the info (also look and feel) from @SubVette's picture and created a spreadsheet that can be printed on card stock for something more durable in the glove box. See attachment (I have the original spreadsheet if anyone wants the file to modify).
