Hi all,

I took the plunge and traded in my 2024 Ridgeline Trailsport for the 2026 Passport Trailsport. Elite Blackout, not intentionally… at first. I have purcahsed 4 vehicles from my dealer. I have a great relationship with the Sales GM and my salesman whom I’ve known for many moons. Took my Ridgleine in for service. I should preface, I take very good care of my vehicles. I get them dirty but also know how to clean them up. I ceramic coat them, keep them maintained inside and out. As I pull in for service the Sales GM comes up to me asking to buy my truck. Says they are looking for used Ridgelines. Told him I fine with my truck for now. He said he just got received a new Passport Elite blackout. I had a white ridgeline with everything blacked out. Since the truck was in for service I said I’d take the passport for a test drive but wasn’t really looking to trade in the truck. Gist of the story is, I’m now the proud owner of a 2026 Passport Elite Blackout. I absolutely love driving this vehicle. I had planned on going back to a full size truck in a year or two as the Ridgeline just doesn’t work for me (just a personal preference). I can honestly say I won’t be switching back to a full size truck anytime soon. No photos yet, until after I put the ceramic coating on and detail her my way….. Did I say I love driving this vehicle…. :ROFLMAO: Oh, I forgot to mention. We got my wife a 2022 Passport but she didn’t like it so we went with the CR-V Hybrid.

Welcome to the site @DJ91 glad to have you aboard. Glad to hear you are loving the vehicle. So far it looks like everyone really loves them and they haven't had many issues (unlike some other new models from other manufacturers). I think Honda hit it out of the park with this one!

So far I agree. I only have two minor issues. The lack of SiriusXm. Apple play is fine but I live in an area with lots of dead zones for cell service which cause apple play to stop playing. Plus I take a couple of trips a year to the mountains and there are dead zones all over resulting in no radio service. No home link on the mirror. I know I can purchase a mirror from Honda with it but as the so-called top of the line Passport it should be standard. I can live with both but would definitely rather have them.

There's a thread here about getting XM: https://www.trailsportforums.com/threads/xm-radio.82/

Also, you should be able to put mp3 files on a flash drive and connect it to USB so you can listen to music even without a phone or radio/XM signal.

There's also the ability to tell Apple Music and Spotify to download the songs to your phone so that even if you lose connectivity the songs are on the phone and that will still play as well. So you have lots of options.
