Passport Trailsport vs Bronco in the Snow

The Bronco has a big advantage having a locking axle.

They are not comparing apples to apples here. Although the Honda did well, the Bronco has 4WD. I didn’t buy mine to go on those snowy off road trails. They should compare it to one of the Subaru Wilderness models and see because that’s a true comparison as far as AWD and ground clearance is concerned.

I think the Passport Trailsport would best the Subaru Wilderness Outback in snow. The only thing the wilderness outback version has going forward is a higher ground clearance. The stock tires are not as good and the all-wheel-drive system, although good is not as sophisticated as the all-wheel-drive system on the passport. Additionally, the Subaru was happening by the fact that it has a CVT transmission which has no place on any vehicle going off road.
