I did a search, but didn't see the PC mentioned. Has anyone added one to their Trailsport? I have one in my 2018 Tundra, and it was a great "mod".
The Modes do pretty much what a pedal commander does. Sport makes it more sensitive/faster response, Eco dumbs it down, and normal is pretty much, well, normal.I did a search, but didn't see the PC mentioned. Has anyone added one to their Trailsport? I'm not familiar with this model/brand but on a lot of other systems all it does is fool you mentally. Let's say you normally have the pedal pushed down 80% to feel a good acceleration. Some of these boxes just add an extra 10%... so you are actually at 90% but you think you are only at 80% which makes it "feel" faster because you think you have more left in it.
Some are legit, may change the tune/maps/timing, etc. but a lot of the cheaper ones just apply more throttle percentage than you think you are.
Yeah, that’s not how PC works at all. There are no hp gains claimed or achieved, but rather responsiveness to one’s application of the right pedal. I’ve taken multiple Tundra owners out in my truck, with them driving and me running PC from my phone. 100% of them bought a PC after that “experiment”
Yup- Actually it's exactly what it does. It just changes the sensitivity of the throttle application. That's it.
The modes do the same thing but add extra stuff like change traction settings, add induction noise, change start/stop functionality.
But hey- it's your money so go for it.![]()
It wasn't an attack and I comprehended the reply perfectly. Thanks for clearing all this up. You seem like a fun person to have around here. LmaoYou should follow conversations better; I wasn’t replying to you. But hey - it’s your lack of reading comprehension, so go for it!
