What's new

📆 What have you done to your Passport TrailSport today?

I installed Lasfit LED rear turn signals. Simple install. Remove the 2 Phillips head bolts holding the housing, wiggle it a little and pull straight out. The center bulb is the turn signal. Twist and remove the socket, pull out the incandescent bulb and insert the new LED. The polarity is specific so if it won’t light remove an reverse the bulb. The hardest part is making sure the 3 pins are aligned with the 3 holes in the fender when you re-install the housing. Push it in until it makes a slight pop. 5 minute job per tail light. The one on the right is the LED for comparison to the incandescent on the left. Probably 50% brighter and I like the sharp on/off as opposed to the soft on and fade off of the old style. The rear turn signals and the vanity mirror lights are the only incandescent bulbs in the entire car.

I bought the bulbs on Amazon from the Lasfit Store. Right now there is a coupon you click on that brings the price down to $38 a pair.

Awesome modifications.... I hope we get some daily updates, seems like I'm always tinkering with my vehicles!

I didn’t do this today but I installed these during my first week of ownership, front and back. Pretty easy, just follow the directions. Ordered from College Hills Honda. Best dealership to order accessories from.

I installed an Idlestopper, so the auto idle stop default is set to off every time you start the vehicle. The installation was not bad, about a 15 minute job. You have to pry up and removed the transmission shift button panel and then the wireless cell phone charger. There is a full video explaining the process at idlestopper.com The price was $89 to eliminate that annoying auto idle stop feature. And you can always turn it on if you want for some reason. Edit: Here is a link to the installation video from idlestopper.com

I installed one of these and it took about 10 minutes. Makes it nice to not have to remember to push that button each time.

I hate having to do that in my cars as well. So annoying. Looks like they aren't going to be required moving forward though.
