Walk away lift gate close

Bought the switch for the walk away lift gate close feature as I don't have the elite trim. Wondering if anyone knows if the harness is in there to add it. I've pulled the panel off but don't see it anywhere. Haven't gone digging yet. Already added the cargo light and that harness connection was right there. If not, the switch (button) was super cheap so no big loss. Thanks!

I was about to write a very similar question to the forum. I have not had the plastic over off either , but I'd be very surprised if the wires/ plug wasn't there. Can you verify if this is the right Honda part number : 35375-TYA-A01 ? Thanks

Definitely very interested to learn if this can be installed on non-elite trims. Anyone have any luck?
