Honda is taking the Passport name into serious desert racing territory with the new
Passport Baja Spec, a 1,300-horsepower race truck developed for the top Trophy Truck class of the 2027 SCORE World Desert Championship. Two-time Baja 1000 winner
Bryce Menzies will handle driving duties. Honda says the project draws on technology developed through its Formula 1, IndyCar, IMSA, and off-road racing programs.
The truck’s reveal is scheduled for
October 29 in Los Angeles, followed by its first public appearance at
SEMA, November 3–6. Its competition debut is planned for the
2027 SCORE Baja 500. With that much power and Menzies behind the wheel, this should be an interesting addition to the desert-racing field.
