I have a Chamberlain myQ garage door opener. I didn't want to pay Honda $10 a month to use the screen to open my garage, so I bought this on Amazon, which allows me to use Alexa. In the house, in the car, or on the phone. The Google Assistant doesn't work with it because, with Alexa, you have to put in a password. They say it does, but it doesn't. So now you just say, "Alexa, open the garage," and she'll ask you for your PIN code, and the garage will open. Took all of 5 minutes to install. Basically, what it is is the same as having a push-button switch, but it does it through Wi-Fi. Closes the switch to open and close your garage using Alexa.
