It looks like the Wildpeaks would only add about 1.1 inches to the overall diameter. Since it doesn't increase the tire's width, I'm guessing the 275/65/18 Wildpeaks would clear without rubbing, but that's just a guess! We need someone brave enough to try them out. Will the Falken Wildpeak A/T4s fit the new Passport Trailsport model without rubbing? How much additional ground clearance will it add?
The general grabbers on the passport really aren’t that good of a tire. They are rated quite minimally on tread life, and are not three peak rated. Think they would be fine for driving and mostly clear weather, but we would not take them up into the snow. We are looking to purchase new tires in a couple of months. Most likely 265-65-18. Gain a half an inch or so in clearance.I usually just upgrade the tires, but the General Grabber All-Terrains on the new TrailSport are pretty good tires. If I were to upgrade the tires, I would probably go with the new Falken Wildpeak A/T4s.
