What's new

📆 What have you done to your Passport TrailSport today?

I bought the orange Trailsport last week. I'm having the front scuff plate installed today. I'll install the molle panels, window visors, door edge guards, backseat mud covers, yakima roof bars and platform along with a tailgate bike rack. Mine came with the Trailsport mats and window tint for life. I've ordered the table but its on backorder with no ETA, and Im on the lookout for the rear cargo light, also on backorder. I am looking for a rooftop tent and a 270 degree awning. Thinking about a lift kit but not so sure I really need it in North Georgia.

Finally receivied my roof platform and installed it myself. Always think wheels and a nice roof rack really add to the offroad look.

Wasn't near as heavy as I thought it might me. Mounting brackets and bolts weigh more than the rest of the platform.
The last step of attaching the platform to the brackets was the toughest part since you have to come up from underneath and it's all feel to find the threads and its 3 bolts per bracket. If you have a couple of helpers, I would do the opposite and attach the brackets to the platform first and then attach the four brackets along with the platform to the rails.

Congrats, where are the pictures!

I installed an Idlestopper, so the auto idle stop default is set to off every time you start the vehicle. The installation was not bad, about a 15 minute job. You have to pry up and removed the transmission shift button panel and then the wireless cell phone charger. There is a full video explaining the process at idlestopper.com The price was $89 to eliminate that annoying auto idle stop feature. And you can always turn it on if you want for some reason. Edit: Here is a link to the installation video from idlestopper.com

God I hope they stop with mandatory idle-stop and make it off by default. Ruins starters and is ridiculous to think it provides some semblance of benefit.
