I have to be honest. It's not startling bright. But, startling bright would eventually get me pulled over. Should still be somewhat effective on back roads 45 and under. On faster roads, If it gives me even one second faster reaction time, I'll consider it a win. That could be the difference between airbags being deployed or not. And deployed airbags means totaled vehicle these days. Found that out the hard way. That's the bad news. The good news is that I took the money and used it to help buy my Passport. ;-)
