Man, everyone hates those automatic shut offs, I'm so glad they are getting rid of them.

It's come into play at inconvenient times. Like when I'm trying to shoot out and make for a gap in traffic.

Every vehicle I've ever owned, I just get into the mode of disabling it every time I get into the vehicle anyway. Or get a permanent defeat device as well.

This is the first vehicle I've had that it doesn't stay off with one press of the button, permanently. It's whatever. The passport isn't exactly an efficiency vehicle.

90% of the vehicles I've owned you have to do it each time you start the vehicle. It's a PITA.

The last new vehicle I got with an automatic was my 2018 GMC Canyon, it didn't have it. My 2014 328i had it, as well as my G/f's 2015 X3, but it stays off when you turn it off once. It's not mandated to reset with each restart and we are where we are today.

I did the WeatherTech door sill guards a couple weeks ago. They have double sided tape along the long edges. I like the way they fit and seems like they will really protect from scuffs and scratches.

I hate having to do that in my cars as well. So annoying. Looks like they aren't going to be required moving forward though.

I saw that they teased getting rid of it... This shouldn't be more than a software update to negate this feature.

Getting front and doors ppf film and swapped the 2 emblems (front and back) for black.... Might rough sand original emblems and paint them the color match of the truck and see how those look.
