I have a Jeep Wrangler. JEEP Just Empty Every Pocket.I know the feeling. I haven't kept a vehicle stock ever.... sometimes the list gets just out of control. I had a Supra one time that I dumped about 30k into. A Camaro that I dumped about 20k into... drove it right from the dealer to the shop. Bought it out of state, it had 800 miles on it before the Magnacharger and a ton of other supporting mods was going on it![]()
So I installed these smaller grill lights from Dune Gear. I didn't want to go through the firewall just to switch them on and off so I'm using a wireless relay. I was hoping to find a DRL fuse under the hood but unfortunately they are inside the car so I had to find a way around having to go through the firewall.. The Relay has a ground and hot input and a ground and hot output. I wired it directly up to the battery using an in-line fuse. And I grounded it to the truck ground. The output goes to the LEDs. They're wired in parallel so I only needed to send 16-gauge wire in a split loom up the hood and behind the insulation. (I found these lights to be extremely bright so I intalled a dimmer in under the hood so I can tone them down a little bit.... I wired that to the LEDs under the scoop.

My wife wanted a fun SUV to tinker with so here we are, luckily with discounts or second hand so far.

Eventually I hope someone makes a metal "bash" plate for the front because I am not sure the OEM Scuff Plate is worth it.
... and get another job!
I got the same lights and also like them very much for lighting up this area.I couldn’t see in this area at night so I purchased these usb C lights on Amazon and they are cheap. Got one for the back passenger area as well.

Installed this screen protector on my TSE today. Install was super easy and it works and looks OEM
This one is really nice. . . .it is a thin piece of glass. If you look closely, all that you can see if a very fine line around the edge of the glass over the screen. I am really happy with it.Nice, I always worry about the fit on some of the Amazon cheap screen protectors. Glad it looks OEM!
